Markell, seventh-grade students celebrate the Constitution’s anniversary in Philadelphia

It’s the 225th anniversary of the Constitution and Del. Gov. Jack Markell is crossing state lines to celebrate.

Markell will be at the National Constitution Center in Old City today with seventh-grade students from Brandywine Springs School.
The group will put their John Hancocks on the center’s commemorative 225th anniversary Constitution, joined by 11-year-old actress Kiera McNeill, who stars in the center’s commercial.

They’ll present the center’s CEO and President David Eisner with an official proclamation before checking out what’s new at the center.
