Markell hosts international leaders for business reception

Governor Markell will welcome international business leaders and diplomatic representatives to tout the state’s opportunities for international businesses.

About 250 leaders are expected at the event tonight in Wilmington. Markell has made an effort in recent months to demonstrate the state’s willingness to work with companies from overseas. In addition to take a trip late last year to Asia, Markell reached an agreement with the Chinese Ministry of Commerce Investment Promotion Agency. The collaborative effort is designed to inform investors about Delaware’s business climate.
