Mandatory civil rights training for all Atlantic City cab drivers

All cab drivers in Atlantic City will undergo mandatory civil rights training as part of a Yellow Cab Co. settlement.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the settlement is a resolution to a complaint filed by a rider who was prohibited from bringing his seeing eye dog into two separate cabs. Though the cab company admits no wrongdoing, the Division on Civil Rights will conduct state and federal civil rights training for all of the city’s taxi drivers.
