Man wanted for multiple pizza store robberies
Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the male in this surveillance video. They believe he is responsible for three robberies in the 14th District.
The first took place on July 29 at 8 p.m. at the Holiday Express Pizza store on Stenton Avenue. The suspect walked in, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded cash from the register. He ended up fleeing east on Barringer Street with about $500.
The second robbery happened on July 31 at 9:40 p.m. at Papa John’s Pizza on Wadsworth Avenue. Again, the suspect pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded cash. He walked away with about $344 in cash.
The latest in the recent string of robberies took place last Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. at Mom’s Pizza on East Willow Grove Avenue. The suspect showed a handgun and stole about $190 in cash.
In all of the robberies, the suspect was described as a black male wearing a black ski mask.
