Man sentenced to 14 years for shooting at police helicopter

    A Harrisburg man has been sentenced to 14 years and three months in prison for shooting at a police helicopter in 2008.

    Jonathan Butler, 28, was charged with firing at a Philadelphia Police helicopter that Lieutenant Anthony Ginaldi and Officer Christian Hochstuhl were using to assist with a pursuit of a group of people driving illegal ATVs. Butler was found nearby with the gun used in the shooting.

    In addition to the 171-month prison sentence, Butler has to pay a $200 special assessment.
