Man pleads guilty to stealing boy’s sandwich at gunpoint

A 23-year-old Philadelphia man has pleaded guilty to an armed robbery in which he stole a meatball sandwich from a 13-year-old boy.

The boy was approached by four men in Yeadon last fall after he’d just purchased the sandwich, the Delaware County Times reports. When they found nothing of value, the men took the sandwich.
The three other defendants, also from Philadelphia, await trial in April for robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, recklessly endangering another person, and simple assault. One also faces firearms charges.

The plea deal carries a prison sentence of up to 23 months and two years of probation.
