Man charged in threat that closed N.J. college campuses

Charges have been filed against a man accused of making an online bomb threat that spurred a southern New Jersey community college to evacuate its campuses.

Hamilton Township police say 23-year-old Sergio Feliciano, of Vineland, is charged with causing false public alarm and making terroristic threats.

Authorities say the threat against Atlantic Cape Community College was posted Friday afternoon on Twitter. The school then sent a text alert to students advising them that all three campuses were being evacuated as a precaution, since the threat was not specific to a particular campus.

The school resumed normal operations on Saturday.
