Lower Merion Township will spray for mosquitoes Tuesday
Lower Merion residents could get a little more mosquito relief after tomorrow, when the Montomgery County Health Department has scheduled mosquito sprayings around the township.
Tuesday night between 8:30 and 11 is the magic hour — unless it rains. Areas with a high mosquito population that could carry West Nile Virus have been targeted.
The Main Line Times has a list of areas to be sprayed Tuesday:
the township transfer station on Woodbine Avenue
township property at Flat Rock and Mary Watersford roads in Penn Valley
and sections of:
North Woodbine Avenue
Greentree Lane
Centennial Road
Marywatersford Road
Flat Rock Road
Sprague Road
Gerson Drive
Hidden River Road
River Road
The health department will also work with agencies to identify, eliminate or treat areas where mosquitos are breeding.
