Lower Merion Township will spray for mosquitoes Tuesday

    Lower Merion residents could get a little more mosquito relief after tomorrow, when the Montomgery County Health Department has scheduled mosquito sprayings around the township.

    Tuesday night between 8:30 and 11 is the magic hour — unless it rains. Areas with a high mosquito population that could carry West Nile Virus have been targeted.

    the township transfer station on Woodbine Avenue
    township property at Flat Rock and Mary Watersford roads in Penn Valley

    and sections of:

    North Woodbine Avenue
    Greentree Lane
    Centennial Road
    Marywatersford Road
    Flat Rock Road
    Sprague Road
    Gerson Drive
    Hidden River Road
    River Road

    The health department will also work with agencies to identify, eliminate or treat areas where mosquitos are breeding.
