    Have a Heart at Smith

    This Saturday, the Junior League of Philadelphia pairs with Smith Playhouse in the Park for Love Your Heart Day.  From 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., kids under 6 can make a Valentine for their heart’s desire, listen to their own hearts, create a heart-healthy meal, and jam with Musical Hearts at 11 a.m.

     

    Puppy Love at the Big Blue Marble Bookstore

    Author Sondra Dankel will be on hand for a reading of her book, One Lucky Pound Puppy.  Recommended for kids 8-12 years old, the book follows Lucky from the shelter to his new home, with plenty of mischief and fun in between.  Stop by Saturday at 1pm for a nice, low-key way to introduce your kids to the people behind the books they read!

     

    More love of Reading with Super WHY!

    Calling all Super Readers! There’s a L-O-V-E bash this weekend with Alpha-Pig and Wonder Red!  Make valentine crafts, play Alphabet Bingo and the Spelling Bean Bag Toss, dance and sing along to family-friendly songs with the Super friends!
