Local landmarks to get national recognition

Two historic landmarks in the Philadelphia area have been tapped for national recognition.

It was announced Friday that Delaware County’s Kuerner Farm and Philadelphia’s Arch Street Friends Meeting House are among the nation’s 14 newest national historic landmarks.

We’ll hear more later about the Arch Street house from NewsWorks intern Monika Zaleska. You may recognize the Kuerner Farm, as it was the inspiration for more than 1,000 paintings by artist Andrew Wyeth, spanning more than 64 years.
