Local barbers shave heads for Make-A-Wish donations

In Abington, the cops are growing mustaches for charity. In Oxford, people are shaving their heads. Local barbers are getting in on the action, performing close shaves for customers to help raise money for the local Make-a-Wish Foundation chapter.

For every video of a participating barber shaving a head with a Bic razor, Bic will donate $400 to the Philadelphia and Susquehanna Valley Make-a-Wish office.

Soldiers have been lining up for a seat in Bill Bilger’s barber chair in Oxford, as the Daily Local reports, since the down-to-the-skin shave isn’t much different than the peach fuzz they’re used to. The local Make-a-Wish office can earn up to $75,000 from the videos.
