Lisa Jackson was the former head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, but she is now headed to Apple as the company’s new environmental adviser.
The announcement was made yesterday at the “D: All Things Digital D11” conference in California by Apple’s chief executive, Tim Cook.
She’s going to be coordinating a lot of [environmental practices] activity across the company,” said Cook, according to the technology news website, Allthingsd.com.
