Liberty Medal winner to be announced, Council to vote on budget

    Good morning, Feeders! While you’re on the edge of your seats waiting for Philadelphia City Council to vote on its budget, we’ll have the latest for you on the Phanatic’s injury, a video game tax credit and the announcement of the Liberty Medal winner.

    Tom MacDonald will be floating around City Hall for the latest on Philadelphia’s budget and reaction from Council.

    Peter Crimmins will be at the National Constitution Center this morning for the announcement of the Liberty Medal winner — awarded to “men and women of courage and conviction who strive to secure the blessings of liberty to people around the world.” Peter is also checking in with a creative new department within City Hall.

    The American Medical Association is has some new guidelines as part of its bill of rights for residents and fellows. Taunya English will check out the recommendations and what they mean for patient care.
