Late night Atlantic City Expressway crash sends driver to hospital
Two lanes on the Atlantic City Expressway were closed for more than two hours after a late night crash sent a car into some trees.
The accident happened on mile marker 19 of the expressway overnight in Hamilton Township.
WPVI-TV reports the the driver had to be removed from the vehicle by emergency crews and was taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The driver’s condition was not immediately known.
WPVI-TV says the car overturned after slamming into some trees.
