Jury deliberations begin in Computergate trial

Jury deliberations have begun in the Computergate trial and the multiple charges handed down for the taxpayer-funded technology allegedly used to further former State Rep. John Perzel’s campaign.

The Associated Press reports the panel of six men and six women left the court room this afternoon to begin mulling the charges against former State Rep. Brett Feese, the ex-chair of the House Republican Campaign Committee; and Jill Seaman, Feese’s former aide.

They’re charged with theft, conspiracy, conflict of interest, hindering apprehension and obstruction. Perzel and several other defendants pleaded guilty.
