Judge says racy Atlantic City billboard can stay until hearing

A judge has decreed a controversial billboard over Atlantic City train station can stay in place at least until a hearing is held. The ad features the backside of a woman wearing sheer tights and a skillfully placed strand of beads.

Resorts Casino Hotel put up the billboard to promote its jazz-era cabaret show, but some neighbors and youth groups oppose its message.

The Associated Press reports Superior Court Judge Nelson Johnson said the ad can remain intact pending a March 10 hearing to discuss its future — just one month before the ad expires.

Johnson is the author if Boardwalk Empire, which has seen been made into a popular HBO series.
