John Vernon to officially announce candidacy for U.S. Senate on multi-city tour Wednesday

    Retired Colonel John Vernon says he will officially announce his candidacy for the U.S. Senate in a multi-city tour set to begin tomorrow in Philadelphia.

    According to Vernon’s official campaign website, the tour will kick-off at 9:00 a.m. at Liberties Restaurant and Bar on the 700 block of North 2nd Street.

    Additional details have not yet been released on Vernon’s campaign website.

    Vernon, a Scotch Plains, New Jersey native, served 32-years as a Military Officer before retiring at the rank of Colonel.
