Jogger finds syringes in Ventnor dunes
A jogger called Ventnor police Monday after finding hypodermic needles and syringes in the dunes. Not exactly what you want to see on your morning oceanfront run.
The Press of Atlantic City reports police found 47 syringes around the dunes and boardwalk, but the discovery didn’t necessitate a beach closure. Though it doesn’t appear the syringes washed up from the ocean, the investigation continues.
