The Rev. Jesse Jackson is in the area today and tomorrow to support New Jersey’s union employees in a series of rallies. Beginning this morning, Jackson will be in town to oppose Gov. Chris Christie’s cuts to public services.

The tour kicks off in Philadelphia with a picket line rally, as the Associated Press reports, then Jackson will head to Camden’s Walt Whitman Park to rally with state employees.

Wednesday will take him to Jersey City, Newark and Trenton for more of the same.
