It’s official

The battle over who can host holiday displays at Chester County’s Historic Courthouse has been decided: all displays now rest in the hands of the county.

A 2-1 vote yesterday resulted in the decision that will now prohibit organizations and individuals sponsoring holiday displays on the county property.

Republican commissioners Chairman Carol Aichele and Terence Farrell (who proposed the resolution) voted in favor of the change, while Democratic Commissioner Kathi Cozzone opposed, the Delco Times reports.
