There’s a Toyota Scion buried somewhere under there, and David Nelson is going to find it. He’s originally from Minnesota, where snow is no joke.

Nelson: This is a lot of snow, even by Minnesota- even by Buffalo standards.

Most of the secondary streets are not plowed in West Philadelphia. To get to the corner store many people follow the trolley tracks, which are cleared.

Tim Johnson, originally from Los Angeles, says between the corner store and his computer at home, he has everything he needs.

Johnson: It’s beautiful. I’m taking pictures and posting on Facebook. Sharing them with everybody. I’ll Google my way from here to there.

Many people digging out there cars Saturday morning will have to dig out again later – snow is expected to fall all day.
