Interfaith service for firefighters who died in Kensington blaze

An interfaith service held today will honor the two Philadelphia firefighters who died battling a Kensington blaze in April.

Lt. Robert Neary and firefighter Daniel Sweeney were part of the crew fighting a multi-alarm fire at a vacant warehouse when part of the building collapsed.

An investigation is now underway to determine the safety of the building before its collapse, and Local 22, the firefighters union, has accused the department of failing to follow proper procedure to prevent the deaths.
