In settlement with Chickie’s and Pete’s, N.C. restaurant can use ‘Crabby Fries’ name
It’s settled. A restaurant in Kill Devil Hills, N.C., can use the name “Crabby Fries.”
Name sound familiar? It did to the Philadelphia-based Chickie’s and Pete’s restaurant chain. The owners filed a suit late last year involving its trademark on the term “crabfries” and the North Carolina’s alleged violation.
The Outerbanks Voice reports details of the settlement have not been disclosed, but the Kill Devil Hills restaurant owner said the Crabby Fries name is intact.
