I for improvement

    A few dozen L&I employees received specialized training last week to improve the city agency. Sixty workers for Philadelphia’s Department of Licenses & Inspections attended a training session hosted by professors of Penn’s Wharton School of Business and Fels Institute of Government.

    Heard in the Hall reports the session focused on performance management, work system models and leadership. The lesson is meant to enhance the department’s ability to handle dangerous properties and the changes that come with working for a large city.
