Hundreds turnout for Home and Garden Festival in Northwest Philadelphia

Traffic was blocked off for most of the day for a large portion of Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill today. Hundreds of people turned out for the 15th Annual Home and Garden festival, which featured more than 150 vendors offering everything from backyard decks, plants, books, jewelry to Indian food

The festival stretched a half-a-mile from Willow Grove Ave to Rex St at the top of the hill.

Some of the new faces to the festival that had booths were: Gravers Lane Gallery, Oxford Circus Toys, Charles Todd, of Mt. Airy Custom Furniture, and NewsWorks.

This year’s musical performances featured: Six Pack, City Rhythm Orchestra, Dukes of Destiny, Melissa Martin & the Mighty Rhythm Kings, Carlos Munhoz and Maplewood Music Studio.
