Hundreds run to support Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition

A strong storm front didn’t stop hundreds of women from running to raise money for the fight against breast cancer along the Wilmington Riverfront.

More than 500 women took part in the 3rd Annual Women’s Race for the Pink Ribbon 5K Thursday night in Wilmington.  The race got underway a little earlier than planned in hopes of avoiding a strong line of storms that was headed towards Delaware.  Although the rains came, the race went on as scheduled.
