Housing Authority chooses former Rendell aide as agency’s top lawyer

    The Philadelphia Housing Authority’s general counsel position has been vacant since 2008 when then-Executive Director Carl Greene began outsourcing the work to city law firms.

    But PHA has announced Barbara Adams as its top lawyer, as the Inquirer reports. Adams served as general counsel for the state when Ed Rendell was governor. Adams is tasked with rebuilding the agency’s legal network.
