Hospice honors patients’ memory with butterfly release

Grieiving loved ones have come to find an unexpected source of comfort: hospice workers.

NewsWorks interns Anneliese Dahms and Annie Bydlon talked with Roxborough resident Margo Burwell about the care she received from the Hospice of Philadelphia when she was referred to their services to help her dying mother.

In honor of all the people they’ve helped, the organization incorporated a new tradition into its 125th anniversary celebration: a butterfly release.
