Hope for a few of the laid off in Camden

The Courier Post reports that a new budget from Camden Mayor Dana Redd may save the jobs of 47 police officers and 13 fire fighters who were laid off last month.

Camden city council will weigh the new budget proposal on Tuesday which finds an additional $5.5 million to rehire some of the 400 police officers and fire fighters who lost their jobs.
