Hop Angel now open in Fox Chase

The word from Scoats, owner of Mayfair’s popular Grey Lodge Pub, is that Hop Angel is now open.

The Fox Chase-based German bar had a soft launch last week at the historic 7980 Oxford Ave. address. But all the publicity made a soft opening difficult, so the Hop Angel Brauhaus is now officially open for business.

For now, the bar is open seven days a week from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., with a daily dinner menu and a lunch menu coming soon, and plans for an Oktoberfest celebration underway.
