    Apparently, devoting himself to the church wasn’t enough to make “Jerry from Philly” happy.

    The Associated Press reports a Roman Catholic priest, suspended after federal agents in Philadelphia seized his laptop, has apparently undertaken several marketing schemes.

    Father Geraldo Pinero endorses several “multi-level marketing” companies, or MLMs, in Facebook, blog and other postings.

    The 46-year-old pastor, who calls himself “Jerry from Philly,” is shown in the posts sans collar, wearing a tuxedo or sweater. He promises recruits they can get rich selling candles, life coaching or other services. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia bans priests from most secular work.
