Holy Family University coach suspended for assault allegation

Holy Family University has suspended its basketball coach after a player accused him of assault. Coach John O’Connor was suspended yesterday.
Action News reports a 19-year-old player for the Northeast Philadelphia university team says O’Connor elbowed him and knocked him to the gym floor, giving him a bloody nose. Police are investigating the report on O’Connor, who took the job last April after assisting at Georgia Tech.
