AAA Mid-Atlantic says 460,000 area residents plan to travel during the long Thanksgiving weekend – a whopping 11.6 percent increase over last year!
AAA says the boost can be attributed to an improved economy.
Last year’s increase in travel over 2008 was 0.2 percent.
