Highlights magazine published Upper Pittsgrove girl’s poem

You may have passed third grade like Rachel Seykot, but have you published a poem?

Now a fifth-grader, the Upper Pittsgrove, N.J., resident can be found in the pages of Highlights, where a poem she wrote in third grade has been published.

The 10-year-old tells Today’s Sunbeam submitting the poem wasn’t too hard. She selected the work, which combines her love of horses and writing, and submitted to the magazine for consideration. You can find the “Arabian Horses” poem in the “Your Own Pages” section of the July issue.
