It was just one of those classic late summer days at the shore: a bright blue sky, breeze off the ocean, and the air and sea just about the same temperature.

Perfect for anything, including anchoring at Tices Shoal — a popular party spot located off Island Beach State Park in the Barnegat Bay — where Tices Shoal Online captured this aerial image using a kite camera.

These are the days that I’m sure many shore lovers dream about during blustery winter days.

It’s the type of day that you never want to end. But when the sun sets, the air gets cool, and salty air flows through open windows as you sleep.

And if you’re lucky, the next day is a carbon copy.

Hurray, we hit the jackpot, because another gem is on tap.
