Guide to Philadelphia’s Nov. 8 general election

So a guy walks into the voting booth…

Then what? The Philadelphia general election is less than a week away, and despite some of the hi-jinx before the primaries (if you recall, brothers Milton and John Street were both possible candidates at one point), this is no joke.

To help you avoid being an uneducated voter, Philly Weekly has a candidates guide for you. You won’t find explainers on the mayoral or 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th or 9th council races because those are pretty much sealed fates. But if you live in other districts or want to get to know your candidates for council-at-large, city commissioner and sheriff, let this guide be your friend.
