Gubernatorial candidate Williams raising funds from school choice supporters

    State Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams is a Democrat, and the only African American vying to be Governor.

    Franklin and Marshall College political science professor Terry Madonna says many Democratic candidates are opposed to vouchers and other forms of alternative education.

    A new poll shows the Democratic candidates for governor have been virtually invisible to the voters and many said they don’t know enough about Williams to have an opinion.

    He’s started running campaign ads designed to change that.
