Group plans playground in wake of Souderton girl’s death

The tragic news of 9-year-old Skyler Kauffman’s death in Souderton has the community coming together to honor her. A group of residents formed “Project Safe Playground” to help erect a play space for kids in Kauffman’s honor.

Kauffman was murdered last week, and her neighbor is charged with her death.

Project Safe Playground has already reached out to a playground designer, as the Mercury reports, and hopes the new space can be something more than “just a couple of swings and a slide,” as one resident noted.
