Greeting cards help make news of STDs easier
Happy Valentine’s Day. I might have given you herpes.
Just kidding. But not everyone can say the same, and some people carrying STDs need a little help breaking the news to others.
That’s why STDPhilly is using a series of greeting cards meant to help those with sexually transmitted diseases alert their current and former partners to the risks.
Health & Science reporter found the cards, which have sayings like:
“I got screwed screwing. You might have too,” and another depicting a man in a towel with the message, “You’re too hot to be out of action.”
The goal of course, is to take the stigma out of VD and encourage those at risk to get tested instead of remaining silent.
