Grade crossing project means weekend shuttle busing to Manayunk/Norristown line

A SEPTA railroad crossing renewal project on the Manayunk/Norristown Regional Rail line will mean a slight change for commuters between Norristown Transportation Center and Elm Street Station.

According to SEPTA, the project will result in weekend shuttle bus service between the two stations for commuters, from October 29-30.

SEPTA says passengers traveling to Philadelphia will board shuttle buses at Elm Street Station and Main Street Station 10 minutes before the scheduled train time. The buses will travel to NTC, where passengers can transfer to Regional Rail trains.

Trains from Philadelphia will operate normally.
