Good riddance

    Among those not broken up about Dwight Evans unseating as House Appropriations Chair is none other than electricians union chief John Dougherty.

     

    Dougherty reportedly has beef with Evans over a sentiment many other Philadelphians share: the idea that Evans pours money into his 203rd District while ignore the rest of the city.

    And as Heard in the Hall reports, Dougherty came to blows with an Evans ally over the summer regarding union labor division at the Convention Center, a project close to Evans’ heart.

    Johnny Doc and the gang of Dems who ousted Evans earlier this week are taking their chances with Allegheny County’s Joe Markosek.
