Gloucester Township police officer arrested while on duty
Police in Gloucester Township, N.J., have arrested one of their own who was on duty.
The officer is charged with possession and intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.
The department says Tuesday’s arrest followed an internal affairs investigation that was conducted with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officials plan to release the name of the officer and other details during a Wednesday afternoon news conference.
