Germantown residents spruce up a corner in need for Philly Spring Cleanup

Jim Bear over at G-town Radio shared photos from Philly Spring Cleanup. Beneath the trash and weeds, the volunteers found blooming daffodils as a reward for their hard work.

“Neighbors on the 5100-block of Pulaski cleaned the corner of Manheim and Pulaski on the Philly Spring Clean Up,” Jim writes. “The corner is a bus stop with a neglected property on the corner. It had become an overgrown mess filled with trash covered over by weeds and more trash.”

Take a look at the before and after photos; the corner is looking pretty spiffy now.
