Germantown digs out

All across Germantown people were digging out today, and the ones that we talked to seemed to be faring pretty well. Some even shared their tips for surviving snowy times.

Briana and Byanka Diggs, 15, of Germantown took the day off as an opportunity to help out their neighbors with shoveling, and maybe make a little extra money doing it.

Briana called it a way to stay out of trouble. They were just finishing their third client on Penn Street when NewsWorks caught up to them. Though sometimes business isn’t that easy to come by.

“We go around knocking on doors and a lot of people say no, and we just keep going,” Briana said.
