Gas main break in Germantown requires evacuation
Fresh off the gas main explosion in Tacony, four homes were evacuated last night after a gas main break in Germantown. Residents were allowed to return early this morning.
Action News reports a four-inch gas main broke along the 4800-block of Stenton Avenue late last night. Quick action from PGW had residents back in their homes around 12:30 this morning.
