Gallery: Red foxes of Island Beach State Park

A common sight throughout Island Beach State Park, red foxes are quite photogenic, as evidenced by the images above by JSHN contributors

We Love IBSP reminds us to never feed the red foxes, who are regularly looking for treats along the main road through the park, and to not trample the sensitive dunes.

While state wildlife officials last month euthanized sickly red foxes in the state park, visitors have recently reported plenty of healthy ones.

Visit here for more information about the red fox population.
