Funding available for Pennsylvania solar projects ready to move

Pennsylvania has funding available for solar energy projects that are ready to go in the next six months.

The contract period for the Commonwealth Financing Authority funding has been lowered from three years to one, the Pittsburgh Business Times reports, leaving opportunities for projects that are nearly ready.

About $10 million is available for the Sept. 1 to Oct. 31 application period. This list includes all the funded solar projects in the program since 2009, with the likes of Tasty Baking, Local 98 and GlaxoSmithKline making the list.
