Fund will foster property acquisition and redevelopment in Atlantic City tourism district

New Jersey’s Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has approved a $10 million fund to help with property acquisition and redevelopment in Atlantic City’s tourism district, the Press of Atlantic City reports.

The fund is part of the CRDA’s plans to boost the downtown area by creating new attractions, businesses and housing opportunities.

And speaking of the tourism district, its commander, Lt. Col. Tom Gilbert, will resign from his role with the state police, but stay on in his capacity with Atlantic City.
