Freeholders consider closing Cumberland County Library

Officials in Cumberland County, N.J., are considering closing the county library in Bridgeton, the Associated Press reports.

When the Board of Freeholders votes on the budget Tuesday, the library’s $800,000 in funding might prove too costly. If there is no space in the budget, the library will close, all 17 employees will be laid off and the bookmobile service will cease.
