Free concerts start Tuesday at Center City park

Ten lunchtime concerts are planned for May at the recently renamed John F. Collins Park in Center City.

The Center City District has announced the start of its noontime acoustic concert series. Every Tuesday and Thursday through the end of September, the small park at 1707 Chestnut St. will add musicians to the mix of green space and benches.

The Rittenhouse String Quartet kicks off the series tomorrow from noon to 1:30 p.m.
